First Publication of: Frederick W. Diseroad, “Studies in Ink 1995-2021”
Fred Diseroad is a founding partner of one of the largest and most successful regional architectural firms in southeastern Pennsylvania. Not only is he a distinguished architect, he is also a Charter Member and past Secretary of the West Rockhill Historical Society. Fred began to experiment in ink drawings when he produced his daughter’s wedding invitations and thereafter, his hobby became a passion, and he began sketching regularly. Fred helped to fund the Society with his artistic talent by sketching residential and historical properties in and around West Rockhill Township. He personally matted and framed each sketch, then donated the proceeds to the Society. To this day, Fred’s sketches still support the Historical Societies educational programs and other endeavors. Fred has now added author to his repartee. In collaboration with Fred, the Society published this limited-edition coffee table book that would make a wonderful gift for family and friends.
Fredrick W. Diseroad, “Studies in Ink 1995-2021” is a 114-page sketch book of artistic wonder…complete with 204 sketches and historical information. If you love architecture, art or history, you will be totally absorbed in this edition from the moment you open the first page. There are so many gorgeous and wonderful places in these pages, you will be spellbound by their beauty. From local images of West Rockhill Township to page after page of picturesque illustrations from Bucks County Pa., and finally to destinations around the world.

Press Release, Published Works Available December 1, 2022
Highland Park Camp Meeting is the first property in West Rockhill to be placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
Highland Park was eligible for the National Register for its important local example of the camp meeting movement and is a good example of the typical design and building types associated with camp meetings in the late 19th century.
It also has remarkably retained many of the characteristics of its early construction.
To be listed on the National Register is an honor and a tribute to those who have lovingly maintained Highland Park for nearly 125 years.
The sign above needs no explanation, but if you want to read more about Highland Park, It's history and the Historical Societies mission to place the park on the Registry for Historic Places, just click on Highland Park on the list at the upper left on this page.
The award above was given to West Rockhill Historical Society in recognition by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia and is the recipient of the John Gallery Award for Community Action for our efforts to place Highland Park on the National Register of Historic Places.
